Prior to joining OMIGSA, Mobasheer has been part of OMSA Corporate Finance as a Senior Corporate Finance Manager, and has been involved in many merger and acquisition transactions including the OM plc BEE deal, OMP acquisition of Marriott and Old Mutual's acquisition of Acsis.

He is currently the Financial Director of OMIGSA, overseeing OMIGSA finances and governance. Mobasheer holds and has held various Board positions within and outside of Old Mutual including Old Mutual Investment Group (South Africa); Futuregrowth and NMT Capital (Pty) Ltd.
